35th Annual Blue-Gray 100 Brings HTF Series Championship Finale to Cherokee Speedway Oct. 10-11

Saturday’s $35,000-to-win, 100-lap finale will decide the $50,000 Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series championship!

GAFFNEY, S.C. (Sept. 30) — Cherokee Speedway is set to host one of its biggest race weekends ever with the 35th annual Blue-Gray 100 on Oct. 10-11. Along with offering more than $43,000 in Super Late Model winner’s purses, Cherokee’s historic event will be sanctioned by the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series for the first time and will serve as the tour’s Championship Weekend, where the $50,000 series champion will be crowned.

The two-night Super Late Model spectacular features a complete $8,022-to-win HTF Series program on Friday, Oct. 10, while the 35th Blue-Gray 100 will run in its entirety on Saturday, Oct. 11, with a 100-lap HTF Series feature paying an event-record $35,000 to the winner. Both nights will also count toward Cherokee Chief Series points.

Friday night’s program will also include Cherokee Speedway’s rescheduled Racing With A Mission Night. Supporting Mission 22 in honor of America’s military veterans, the night will feature the South Eastern Hornets Association (SEHA) Front-Wheel Drives racing for $1,722 to win, SEHA Young Guns racing for $522, and Thunder Bombers racing for $822. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to Mission 22 to support veteran suicide prevention and awareness.

In addition to the $35,000-to-win Super Late Model headliner, Saturday’s undercard brings the 602 Crate Late Models racing for $1,200 to win, while the Renegade Sportsman and Pure Stock divisions will each race for $800 to win, and Crown Vics will race for $500 to win.

It’s two full nights of racing, the biggest payout in Blue-Gray 100 history, and a championship showdown fans won’t want to miss!

Credit card purchases can be made at the General Admission gate. Pit and Trackside gates are cash only. Pit passes and Trackside passes can be purchased at the General Admission gate.

ATVs & Personal Vehicles in the Pits: All ATVs in the pit area must purchase an ATV pass. They are $10 each for the weekend. Due to limited space in the pit area, we are charging $20 for personal vehicles in the pits and may limit the number of personal vehicles allowed in.

Parking & Camping: Parking is free in the general admission parking lot and the parking lot outside the pit area. RVs are allowed to park overnight in the parking lot. There are no hookups.
