Senoia Raceway's July 1 Event Increased to $10,000 to win, will be Co-Sanctioned by Ultimate & Hunt the Front

HTF Series Races at I-75 & North Georgia Canceled, Duck River Event Remains on as Planned

Senoia Raceway’s Independence Day celebration will be even bigger than originally planned after changes were made to the track's Ultimate Super Late Model Series event scheduled for July 1. Originally planned as a $5,000-to-win race, the event has been increased to a $10,000-to-win show and will now be co-sanctioned by the Ultimate Series and the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series.

Both regional tours will award championship points for the event, and two starting spots have been added to the night’s feature so that two provisional starters from each series can be included in the 26-car field. The event will run under Ultimate Series rules, including the tire rule.

Complete details for the race, including admission prices and start times, will be released early next week. For those who can’t make it to the track in person, the event will be streamed exclusively on Hunt the Front TV.

For the Hunt the Front Series, the addition of the Senoia event comes after its June 30 event at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tenn., and its July 1 date at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Ga., both canceled in recent days. North Georgia’s race was canceled due to scheduling conflicts with a local festival, while the I-75 cancellation was due to undisclosed personal reasons for the track owners.

The Hunt the Front Series event scheduled for Sunday, July 2 at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tenn., remains on as planned. The holiday weekend doubleheader will conclude the HTF tour’s mid-season points chase. The driver leading the series standings following the weekend will receive a $5,000 mid-season champion’s check. All drivers who maintain perfect attendance with the series through Duck River will receive at least $500 from the tour’s more than $15,000 mid-season points fund.

The Ultimate Series tire rule is Hoosier NLMT 2 or 3 on the left rear and right rear with the option to run an NLMT 4 on the right rear. The series has an open tire rule for front tires through July 3.

July 1 event payout: 1. $10,000, 2. $5,000, 3. $2,500, 4. $2,000, 5. $1,500, 6. $1,400, 7. $1,300, 8. $1,200, 9. $1,100, 10. $1,000, 11. $900, 12. $850, 13. $800, 14. $750, 15. $700, 16. $650, 17. $640, 18. $630, 19. $620, 20. $610, 21. $600, 22. $600, 23. $600, 24. $600, 25. $600, 26. $600.
