Hunt The Front Super Dirt Series
HTF Series Heads to Whynot Motorsports Park for House of Hook Showdown Presented by Sublmtd Apparel
The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series gets back to action March 28-29 with a huge weekend of racing at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Miss. The House of Hook Showdown Presented by Sublmtd Apparel will feature an $8,000-to-win main event Friday, March 28 followed by a $12,000-to-win finale Saturday, March, 29. There will also be an open practice to kick off the weekend Thursday, March 27.
The Whynot doubleheader marks rounds two and three in the chase for the HTF tour’s $50,000 championship. Ricky Weiss of Headingley, Manitoba, leads the early-season standings after scoring a $20,000 victory in the series’ points opener at I-75 Raceway on March 8. He tops a stacked roster of 21 drivers who have committed to the full 2025 championship campaign, all aiming to leave their mark on the tour.
This year’s stop at Whynot Motorsports Park marks the series’ second-ever visit to the Mississippi oval. The tour first rolled into the "House of Hook" in 2023 for a thrilling doubleheader weekend that saw series regular Trey Mills of St. Augustine, Fla., claim the opening night victory, while Mississippi’s own Neil Baggett of Columbus captured the checkers on night two. A return visit in 2024 was washed out by rain, adding even more anticipation for this year's showdown.
Fans can look forward to seeing the Southeast's top Super Late Model drivers battle it out at the quarter-mile bullring, along with a strong lineup of local divisions each night. Local divisions will race under Whynot Motorsports Park rules and payouts. Local divisions scheduled for both Friday and Saturday will run separate shows each night.
Local divisions racing each night will be:
Friday, March 28
602 Crate Late Model
Street Stock
Factory Stock
Saturday, March 29
604 Crate Late Model
Open-Wheel Modified

Race fans can also get a sneak peek at the weekend’s action during an Open Practice on Thursday, March 27, from 7-10 PM.
