Hunt The Front Super Dirt Series
HTF Series Set for Huge Labor Day Events at Lavonia and Rome
MILTON, Fla. (May 18) — The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series presented by Sweet Victory Apparel is excited to announce plans for a huge doubleheader of racing in Georgia over Labor Day weekend in September!
Replacing a doubleheader originally scheduled at the now closed Boyd’s Speedway, Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, Ga., and Rome Speedway in Rome, Ga., will combine to host the first-year series for two big events over Labor Day weekend. The tour will visit Lavonia for a $10,000-to-win show on Friday, Sept. 1 before heading to Rome on Saturday, Sept. 2 for the $15,000-to-win Rome Boss!
“Like all dirt racer’s across the South, we’re upset to lose Boyd’s Speedway, but to be able to replace our Labor Day plans there with even bigger races at two great tracks in Lavonia and Rome, we couldn’t be happier,” said series director Joshua Joiner. “We’re excited to work with Scott Childress and his team at Lavonia as well as Marshall and Mia Green and their staff at Rome to put on a great weekend of racing.”
More details about the two events will be released soon. Additionally, plans are still coming together for the replacement of the tour’s July 1 event planned for Boyd’s Speedway.
