HTF Series Heads to West Virginia for Memorial Day Tripleheader
The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series is set to make its first-ever trip to the Mountain State this Memorial Day weekend with a three-race swing across West Virginia featuring more than $37,000 in total winner’s purses.
The weekend opens Thursday, May 22, at Elkins Speedway in Kerens, W.Va., with a $10,000-to-win event before the tour heads to Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, W.Va., on Friday, May 23, for a $12,000-to-win program. The tripleheader concludes Saturday, May 24, at West Virginia Motor Speedway in Mineral Wells, W.Va., where drivers will battle for a $15,000 top prize.

Zack Mitchell currently sits highest among the tour’s title contenders in the series standings, with Joseph Joiner just 20 points behind him and Ashton Winger only two points back of Joiner entering the weekend. With multiple rainouts already impacting the early portion of the schedule, every race and every point will carry added importance throughout the Memorial Day tripleheader.
The HTF Series regulars will also face a talented group of regional standouts from West Virginia and the surrounding area, including Tyler Carpenter, Freddie Carpenter, Ryan Montgomery, Zack Dohm, Corey Conley, Kyle Bond, and many more expected throughout the weekend. The combination of touring stars and local talent is expected to produce some of the deepest fields of the season.
In addition, the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series has announced the following tire rule for all three events:
Fronts: Hoosier NLMT 2 or 3
Left Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2 or 3
Right Rear: Hoosier NLMT 3 or 4
