Hunt The Front Super Dirt Series

West Virginia Tripleheader Canceled Due to Weather

With forecasts continuing to show a high probability of inclement weather in the days leading up to the events and throughout Memorial Day weekend, officials from the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series, Elkins Speedway, Tyler County Speedway, and West Virginia Motor Speedway have agreed to cancel this weekend’s West Virginia tripleheader.

The decision was made jointly by the series and all three track promoters with the safety of race teams, fans, and staff as the top priority, along with the goal of avoiding unnecessary travel expenses and complications for teams facing unfavorable weather across the region.

The events will not be made up as part of the 2026 Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series schedule. However, all three tracks are working on alternate plans to potentially reschedule their events at a later date. Any future event details will be announced directly by the tracks at a later time.

The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series now turns its attention to June 12-13, when the tour returns to Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Miss., for the first time since 2023 for the Clash at the Mag presented by Ollie’s Bargain Outlet. The weekend will feature an $8,000-to-win event on Friday and $12,000-to-win show on Saturday.
