The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series will follow the Unified Dirt Late Model Car Construction Rules (including droop) for the 2026 season with exceptions for minimum weight and tire compound options.
Tire Rule
The standard HTF Series tire rule to start the 2026 season is as follows:
Fronts: Hoosier NLMT 2 or 3
Left Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2 or 3
Right Rear: Hoosier NLMT 3 or 4
Officials may make adjustments to the tire rule during the season or for a specific event. Any such changes will be announced well in advance of the change taking place.
Weight Rule
2350 pounds - Open motor
2300 pounds - Steel Block with aluminum heads
2250 pounds - All steel motor, sealed GM crate motor or CT525 motor
**One pound per lap burnoff for feature races only.
**Five pound variance at all times.
